Someone tries to enter behind you as you unlock the door. What do you do?

Hold the door if they show the app home screen.

Ask them to unlock the door with their own app; do not allow tailgating; report the attempt via the QR/club number.

Let them in “just this once.”

If their phone is dead, let them in and ask them to contact us.

You spot a loose bolt on a bag bracket. What’s your action?

Keep using it carefully until staff are back.

Stop using it and report via the QR/club number immediately.

Try to fix it yourself with nearby tools.

Put it away and tell someone if you remember.

You get blood on the gloves you're using. What steps do you take?

Leave it for staff; it’s not your job.

Wipe with water and carry on.

Hide the item so no one else uses it.

Put on gloves, clean with disinfectant and paper roll, dispose correctly, wash hands, and report.

You planned a 1RM attempt during unmanned hours. What’s acceptable?

Attempt the 1RM and dump the bar if needed.

No max attempts when unmanned; lift submax only with safeties/spotter arms set and controlled reps.

Ask someone outside to come in and spot “just this once.”

Go for it if you’re confident and film it.

You smell burning or hear the alarm. What do you do?

Look for the source before deciding.

Open windows to clear smoke and continue.

Evacuate immediately to the muster point and call 999 (Fire); do not re-enter.

Wait a few minutes to see if the alarm stops.

Another member collapses and isn’t breathing normally. What are your first actions?

Put them in the recovery position and wait.

Call 999, start CPR, and use the AED as soon as available; continue until help arrives.

Give them water and fresh air.
